At Supportive Community Innovations (SCI), we believe that every person — at every age and stage of life — deserves the chance to grow, heal, and thrive. This website is a new space where we can share our work, our vision, and our heart with you.

Who We Are

We are a team of caring professionals providing trauma-informed, evidence-based services across Indiana — in communities like Bloomington, Indianapolis, Vincennes, Evansville, and Bedford.

Our mission is simple: to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate challenges, build new skills, and discover new possibilities. Whether we’re serving children, teens, or adults, we meet people where they are — in homes, schools, offices, and communities — because comfort and familiarity matter.

What We Do

At SCI, we provide a range of supports tailored to the unique needs of each person we serve, including:

• ABA Therapy to build skills and reduce barriers for those with autism and developmental differences.

• Mental Health Counseling for all individuals, independent life stage and goals. to support healing, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Medicaid Waiver Services for people with developmental differences, including: 

  • Behavior Support Services that help individuals develop and maintain independence and thrive in daily life.

  • Recreation Therapy that uses activity and play as tools for growth, connection, and joy.

  • Participant Assistance & Care (PAC) to ensure safety, dignity, and support in everyday living.

Each service we provide is shaped by compassion, backed by research, and designed to empower.

What sets us apart is how deeply we believe in the potential of every person we serve. We take time to listen, to understand, and to create individualized plans that reflect each person’s strengths, goals, and story.

We are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and community-focused — but above all, we are people who care.
