Julie is a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Her current specialties include trauma-recovery, emotional regulation, and support with life stressors. Julie is known to be direct and understanding, solution-focused and empathetic as a counselor. Julie is also a Vice President of our company and wears many hats. She enjoys spending time with her family, jogging in beautiful Bloomington, and her morning coffee!
Ashley is a Licensed Mental Health Care Associate and National Certified Counselor who graduated from Wake Forest University in 2022 with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has continued her education and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), both of which are frontline treatments in healing from trauma. Unsurprisingly, she specializes in treating trauma and has experience treating personality disorders and anxiety. Ashley is a direct but empathetic counselor who understands that your issues stem from a root cause and wants to help you overcome that cause. In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing video games, reading, hanging out with her husband and their fur babies, and spending time with her family in Brown County.
Ellie holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, fully trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), has a certificate in Neuropsychotherapy (NPT-C), and is currently being trained as a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Ellie also works as an evaluator for autism assessments and a Behavior Clinician. She brings a variety of experience from community mental health and addiction treatment, working as a registered behavior technician in ABA therapy, and working as a technician at a residential eating disorder facility. Ellie likes to give her clients tools to use outside of therapy and empowers her clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, cat, and chickens, being active by playing softball or working out, and playing guitar. Her favorite quote is, “Everyday may not be good, but there is something good in everyday.”
Kayla is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and has a master’s degree in Counseling and Counseling Education. Kayla uses a wide variety of techniques and brings experience from a background in adolescents/educational counseling, as well as mental health counseling in community settings, working with trauma, anxiety, and depression. Kayla has a background in Animal-Assisted, Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral, and Narrative therapies but loves broadening her scope with new opportunities. Kayla enjoys working with all age groups and backgrounds. In Kayla’s free time she likes to hike, kayak, spend time with family, and read. Coffee is also high on the priority list for her. You may also see her therapy dog, Ollie, around the office on occasion.
